Willard Scantland, M.D. provided the first anesthetic to a Metro Denver Anesthesia Patient in 1957, Since then, Metro Denver Anesthesia (MDA) has grown to over 35 Anesthesiologists and 10 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. Our group now provides anesthesia to over 25,000 patients per year, serves 18 facilities, and over 250 surgeons in Denver.

MDA is committed to meeting the growing health care needs of the Denver Community through our dedicated providers. Our providers are on call 24 hours per day 7 Days per week to provide all anesthesia services from pain management to cardio-thoracic anesthesia.
